Women in Afrofood
Women in Afrofood is an exclusive initiative by DOKUNVI dedicated to connecting and supporting women entrepreneurs in the Afro food sector. Our mission is to create a space for co-creation, sharing of essential resources and access to opportunities to help our members scale their businesses.
What is Afrofood?
It's not just a network, it's a movement.
Investing together for greater influence
By being part of the community, members can pool their financial resources and expertise to invest in larger-scale Afrofood projects, increasing our potential for success and economic impact.
At DOKUNVI, Afrofood represents a complete ecosystem encompassing all the actors and professions that promote African and Afro-descendant culinary resources, from the land to the plate. This notion includes farmers and agricultural producers, exporters, wholesalers, agri-food entrepreneurs, restaurateurs, chefs, traders and owners of specialized grocery stores, as well as all those who contribute to the promotion, processing, distribution and consumption of food products of African origin.
In short, Afrofood is much more than just a cuisine; it is a cultural, economic and social movement that celebrates the diversity and culinary richness of Africa .
At DOKUNVI, our mission is to make it an economic softpower!
